Work directly with the CTO across product engineering, AI systems, internal infrastructure, and experimental projects.
We care less about your preferred language and more about how you think, design, debug, and ship. Our codebase ranges across TypeScript, Go, Python, and Rust. This role is language and framework agnostic.
You will work directly with the CTO on rich, interactive web applications, AI and agent systems, evals infrastructure, and AI-native internal tools: CLI workflows, automation, observability, and the glue that helps a small team move faster.
This is a language-agnostic role. Ren uses TypeScript, Go, Python, Rust, and other tools where they fit, but we are not hiring for framework familiarity. We are looking for strong software design intuitions, high agency, and clear taste for systems and interfaces that people actually use.
You may also work on experimental engineering projects like Rubric and Rex.
